Join us for this year’s Summer Reading Challenge!

Kicking off on May 31st, the Dearborn Public Library will be having a celebration to launch into this year’s Summer Reading Challenge, with its theme being Color Our World! Find all the info you need to join in below:

 

  • There will be a kickoff event on May 31st from 3 pm – 5pm at the Henry Ford Centennial Library, feautring games, refreshments, crafts, and more! Click here to learn more.
  • Set a goal for your summer reading and track your progress using Beanstack. You can either download the app or go to dearbornlibrary.beanstack.org. Stop into any Dearborn Public Library location throughout the summer (or by September 6th) to pick up your rewards!

Library Programs of Interest!

A Summer Reading Pop-Up Craft!

Stop by the SparkLab during the first full week of each month to participate in a Summer Reading art project! No maker agreement or library card required to participate, young children will need adult supervision.

  • June 2-7
  • July 7-9
  • August 4-9

Hours: Monday & Wednesday: 2:30-7:30 pm and Tuesday & 1st/3rd Saturdays of the month: 10:30 am – 3:30 pm

Dearborn Public Library’s Summer Celebration!

The Dearborn Public Library will be hosting a Summer Celebration in August including:

  • A concert starting at 2 p.m. starring The Music Lady, Beverly Meyer!
  • Family events including games, activities, and balloon twisting demonstrations from the Ballon Meister, Mark Meyer!

Stop by on August 23rd, at the Henry Ford Centennial Library to celebrate the season and enjoy the festivities!
