All MeLCat requested material will be available for pickup at the Henry Ford Centennial Library (HFCL) through Curbside Pickup. Please continue to return all MeLCat material to the drop box at HFCL. For additional information, visit MeL.org or contact MeLCat Services at iloan@ci.dearborn.mi.us.

Our Shelf Help service, will match library users to materials (books, audiobooks, DVDs and Music CDs) based on a variety of preferences chosen, such as genre, interests, author and format. This service is open to library users of all ages.

To get started, fill out the Shelf Help questionnaire on the library’s website. Librarians will place up to 10 items on hold per library account. Once materials are ready (this may take 1-3 business days depending upon availability), library users will be contacted by email or phone. You may then pick up materials curbside at all three library locations.

We encourage our patrons to continue to use our digital media services as well as our online resources.

Please visit the library website dearbornlibrary.org and our social media outlets for dates and details regarding online programs for children, teens and adults. In addition, our Youth Services staff will continue offering Busy Bags and Grab and Go kits.

We will continue to monitor the COVID situation and post all updates to our website and our social media pages.

Library services are subject to change, based on health and safety conditions, library staffing and state mandates.
