Here's all the info on the Esper Renovations closure:
The Basics
The Esper Branch Library is undergoing renovations, during this time,
- All services will be available at Henry Ford Centennial Library (HFCL), which retains its current hours
- All material returns will only be accepted at HFCL
The Esper Branch Library will be undergoing renovations, marking the beginning of a new direction for the branch. During this time, Esper will remain closed to the public, however the Henry Ford Centennial will remain open. Once the renovations are complete, Esper will be transitioning into what is commonly known as a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) library, which summarized will mean that it will focus on collections, programming, and operations centered on those topics.
While Esper will continue to function within the Dearborn Public Library system, there will be noticable changes that intend to separate its function from our other branches. Many services will remain available at Esper, such as public computers with printing services and inter-branch pickups / holds.
