Dearborn Public Library now supports TALK

The Dearborn Public Library joins a statewide project led by the Ypsilanti District Library called TALK, which promotes five practices to build essential pre-reading skills: reading, writing, talking, singing, and playing.

TALK: Text and Learn for Kindergarten, sends two text messages each week suggesting activities that parents and caregivers can easily incorporate into the daily routines with your children. The service also notifies you of free family activities and services at the Dearborn Public Libraries.

TALK is available to parents and caregivers in Michigan with children ages 5 and under, in English and Spanish. Standard data and message rates apply.  Parents and caregivers can sign up by texting TALK to 75547 or visiting www.texttolearn.com.
